Free Wallpaper - Nature Wallpaper: The Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve is a very special place. I always seem to find myself there at least once a year - sometimes more! These dunes are the highest in North America and they are surrounded by some incredible mountains. Kids love to play in the slow moving and pulsating stream that runs in front of the dunes during the early season. When we go to camp and take digital photography for use in desktop wallpaper we always stay at the Oasis Campground. Normally we rent one of the small cabins and have a great time. The campground has spots for tents and RVs and you get use of the clean shower facility. Don't want to cook when camping? The Oasis campground has a restaurant where you can go in the morning for some eggs and toast! When you are there make sure to check out the Sand Dunes Swimming Pool for some great fun and relaxation. Located in the San Luis Valley this is a great place to capture some superb nature wallpaper!

 

This picture was taken at the top of a set of dunes. Nestled in the Sangre de Cristo mountains the park is truly a wonderful place.
