These free wallpaper pictures were taken on a hike in the mountains of Crested Butte Colorado. Nature Wallpaper is everywhere in the Crested Butte / Vail / Gunnison area. At the time we were staying at the Pioneer Guest cabins. The cabins are located 8 miles south of the town of Crested Butte Colorado. Great place to enjoy the mountains and be near a unique mountain community with a large selection of dining options. When in the Crested Butte area a great place to get some superb nature wallpaper is on Kebler Pass and Pearl Pass. I have not traveled over Kebler pass but I have taken the 4 wheel drive route from Crested Butte to Aspen over Pearl Pass many times when I was attending college at Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado. The Pearl Pass trek between Crested Butte and Aspen is a rough road but there are many wildflowers along the route and the scenery is breathtaking.
